Minutes of the Planning Meeting held on Thursday 10th June 2004 at the Belle Friday Centre, London Road, Lynsted
Present:
Councillors; English (Chairman), Champion and Disney In attendance; Mr and Mrs Clarke, Julia Kitt (Clerk)
Apologies
Cllrs Baxter, Barrett and Jones were unable to make the meeting due to the 6.30 rather than 7.30pm start
Public Speaking
Mr Clarke commented that he felt the change were improvements to the property

There were no declarations of interest
Minutes of the last meeting
The Minutes of the meeting held on the 24th May were signed as a true record
Matters arising
Correspondence had been received with reference to SW/04/0552 at ‘Sheerluck’, Lynsted Lane, this was noted
Japonica Cottage, Ludgate Lane. S.B.C. ‘s response indicated no planning permission was required.
APP/V1144/C/04/1148706, The Cherries, Cambridge lane, without planning permission, the material change of use of the Land from agriculture to use as a caravan site involving the stationing of caravans for residential use, the erection of buildings, fencing and earth banking and the installation of a metal tank for foul drainage and the creation of a new entrance with high gates
This appeal required a response by the 24th June, action was therefore required soonest. It was agreed that the Councils position had not changed from the original planning Application. It was agreed that a letter in this vein should be sent to the inspector. Health and Safety matters were not a planning matter. It was noted that the School was under a legal obligation to maintain consistent education for anyone in a school. They are expected to appeal against any eviction notice or mortgage arrears notice on behalf of the child. They do not have to notify the governors.
Planning Application considered
SW/04/0596First Floor extension at Maple Cottage, St Christophers Row
After some consideration the Council did not object to this application. Existing materials were to be matched and there were no conflicts with the Lynsted Design Statement.
Any Other Planning Business
A consultation document, ‘Mapping the Future’ had been received. It was agreed that Cllrs Disney, Baxter and Jones should look over this document and comment.
SW/04/0367 Extension at Orchard Down, Erriot Wood SW/04/0423 Concrete Shed at Vicarage Cottage TC/04/0035 Removal of 2 Elm Stumps, removal of one Holm Oak and 10% Crown thinning of remaining 2 Holm Oaks
The above applications had received approval from S.B.C.
SW/03/01293change of use of field from mineral extraction to part housing and part extension of existing business use and outline application at Vigo Farm, had been refused permission from S.B.C.
It was agreed that a planning meeting should be scheduled for Monday 21st June, Belle Friday Centre at 7.30PM for applications already received.
There being no other important planning business the meeting closed at 7.30PM
