Minutes of the Planning Meeting held on Monday 14th November 2005 at the Belle Friday Centre, London Road, Lynsted

Minutes of the last meeting

The Minutes of the meeting held on the 10th October and the 31st October were agreed.  Proposed by Cllrs Champion and Disney for the former and Cllrs Barrett and Baxter for the latter.

Matters arising

The naming of St Pauls Court was being clarified by Mrs Grimsdell , Swale Borough
Council, it was thought that it should not be a problem.

Mr Hegley was to inspect the site of the felled tree.

Planning Applications

  • SW/05/13432.75m high chain link fence to enclose a tennis court at Jeffries, Claxfield Lane. The council did not object to this application, it would prefer to see a dark non reflective finish to the chain.
  • SW/05/1354Single Storey extensions to rear of Bogle, Lynsted Lane. The council noted the references to the Design statement.  It did not object
  • SW/05/1353Erection of two replacement dwellings at 1 & 2 Bishops cottages, Nouds Lane. The council referred to paragraphs 20,21 and 22 of the design statement, otherwise it did not object

Planning Decisions by Swale Borough Council

The following have permission from Swale Borough Council

  • SW805/0926, dropped kerb at 10 Batteries Terrace
  • SW/05/1137, New vehicle access to agricultural lane at Yew Tree Villa
  • SW/05/1206, demolition of existing extensions and construction of new two storey rear extension at Yew Tree Villa
  • SW/05/1142, Proposed resiting of approved garage and garden store (SW/05/0487)
  • Teynham Parish Council had not objected to SW/05/1192, new car park to the rear of The Dover Castle for 24 cars

Any Other Planning Business

Interest has been shown by a Parishioner from Teynham for the affordable units at St Pauls court.  The clerk would direct her to A Bunce, Housing Officer at Swale

The meeting closed at 8.15PM.
