LMinutes of the Planning Committee held on Monday 21st April, 2008, at the Belle Friday Centre, London Road, Lynsted, at 7.30pm.

Members present.
Cllr.R Baxter (Chairman), Cllrs. T English and F Champion.

Clerk to the Parish Council: C Bennett.

1. Apologies for absence.
   
   Apologies received from Cllr.A Dawes, work commitment, and Cllr.J Disney, SBC Committee duty.
2. Time set aside for the public to address the Committee. No members of the public present.
3. Declarations of interest. There were none.
4. To confirm the minutes of the meeting of 14th April, 2008.
   
   Item No 7 duplicated. Proposal: To delete 2nd No7 entry, and then accept the minutes as a true record. Proposed Cllr.English, seconded Cllr.Champion, and unanimously agreed.
5. Matters arising from those minutes.
   
   Item 6. To consider how Clerk is to use the set format (‘tick boxes’) when sending submissions electronically.
   Proposal: The first two ‘tick boxes’ ,Support and Object to the proposal, speak for themselves, the third ‘tick box’, Make a general observation, to be used when additional information is required by the Planning Committee. Proposed by Cllr.English, seconded by Cllr.Champion, and unanimously agreed.
6. To consider planning application SW/08/0346: Two-storey side extension, single-storey rear extension and new porch, Wrendale, The Street, Lynsted.
   
   This is not a listed property, and lies within a classified built up area.
   Proposal: To support this application. Proposed by Cllr.English, and seconded by Cllr.Baxter, and unanimously agreed.
7. To note Swale Borough Council planning determinations. None
8. Other planning business, for information only.
   
    Clerk informed a planning application had been received from SBC Planning Department.
   SW/08/0421. Kingsdown Farm Kingsdown. Extension on existing barn to be used as cattle
    Shed (for winter housing) and general purpose store for agricultural use, shown to members present.
   Chairman to circulate to the full Planning Committee.

There being no other business the Chairman closed the meeting at 8.00pm.
