Minutes of the last meeting

The Minutes of the meeting held on the 6th September required changing to reflect the letters sent with the planning applications.

Matters arising

SW/04/TEMP/0031/MR83 Claxfield Farm. A response had been received indicating no meeting was required

A meeting would be held on the 12th October at Tudor Cottage with Jeff Elliot, from the agents for Millwood homes who are building at Stedlyn Farm to discuss any financial help for a footpath.

Planning Applications Considered (Applications can be found here)

SW/04/1201 Extension of ancillary building to form music studio at Church Oast, Kingsdown

The Council considered the above application.  No new residence was indicated.
Providing the application complied with paragraphs 13,15, 20 and 22 of the Lynsted Design Statement the Council did not object. These notes refer to the materials used.  Paragraph 40 should also be noted as it refers to native species planted if any screens are required.

Cllr English asked the Council whether they would consider the following application. It had arrived late for the agenda, however, it was an amended plan which only gave 14 days for consideration. The Council agreed to discuss.

SW/04/1078       6 London Road. Rear and side extension with alterations to existing vehicle cross over

This was an amended plan.  It appeared to address our concerns discussed at the last planning meeting and hence no objection was given.

Planning decisions by S.B.C.

SW/04/0641 Amethyst Nursery, Outline application for a single dwelling

The application has been granted permission by Swale Borough Council.  The Council asked the clerk to discover whether approval had been given against the Officers recommendation.

Any Other Planning Business

Cllr Baxter reported that he had attended a meeting discussing the Ospringe Design Statement.

A hearing of planning application APP/V2255/C/04/1148706 would take place on Tuesday 5th October.  Cllr Disney would attend on behalf of the Parish Council.

Cllr Champion and Baxter would check whether a double garage had been built at Toll House, if so the clerk would inform Swale Borough Council.

The meeting closed at 8.30pm
