Minutes of the last meeting

Page 43/2005 of the minutes of the 8th August under Matters arising should have said three square metres, not three metres square. With this amendment the minutes were signed as a true record.

Matters arising

The Clerk was to clarify from Swale Borough Council the name of the new estate within Lynsted.  Cllrs had worked hard to achieve the name St Pauls Court and remove the name Stedlyn.

The use of slate on roofs within the development was in the plans for no’s 1 and 18 of the development, if there was a time to object it was at the planning stage rather than now.

The yellow sign on the A2 had been moved to indicate the development could be reached from Lynsted Lane rather than Claxfield Lane.

Planning Applications

  • SW/05/1154   Demolition of existing outbuilding, conversion of no 96 London Road into 2 one bedroom flats, replacement building with 3 one bedroom flats, associated parking and landscaping.

The Council considered the above application and had no objections.  However, it would like all the landscaping to be complete before it is occupied.

  • SW/05/1142   Proposed resiting of approved garage and garden store (SW/05/0487) At Yew Tree Villa

The Parish Council has no objection to the above application

  • SW/05/1137   New vehicle access to agricultural land at Yew Tree Villa, Lynsted

The Parish Council did not object to the applications at Yew Tree Villa
