Elected as Chairman in May 2007 - Bob and his wife have lived in the parish for 26 years. Their three sons have married and left the area. Bob was a research plant scientist and after that worked for CPRE (Kent), an independent countryside protection group. He retired in 1999. He has been on the Parish Council for ten years. He serves on the Planning committee and leads the community Orchard Group. He is also the parish Tree Warden. His aim is to represent the interests of the community by helping to make the parish a better place.
