Library Services Opening times and resources of Libraries in Swale - including Teynham Library There are fortnightly visits to Lynsted village and Batteries Close by the mobile library.

- UK Online Centres can be found around Kent (for example Sheerness and Isle of Grain have them). UK online centres will offer access and support in local communities, business and the high street to people who are new to the Internet and other technologies.
- Parents with school-age children might find the learning resources of the Guardian’s website called Learn.co.uk. There is some very good reference material for your children’s’ school work.
- Swale Borough Council has an on-line Library covering a lot of its services and leaflets to view or download.

- Planning applications in Swale can be found on the on the UKPlanning Website - this includes the applications and their supporting drawings.
- The Lynsted with Kingsdown Design Statement can be downloaded (this is a large file (2.55 Mb) requiring Acrobat/PDF reader to view it) from Swale Borough Council site. Or order it from the Clerk - please give a postal address. Detailed enquiries about the Design Statement, its development and interpretation should go to Lis Heriz-Smith.

- Kent Fire Service run a very informative website.
- Police Website has a lot of interesting information: Our Community Policeman is Karen Johnson, he holds surgeries on the last Monday of each month (2-4 p.m.) in the Teynham Library and can be contacted via the West Kent telephone number - 01818 502025 or 01732 740055. In office hours, Sittingbourne telephone number is 01795 477055.
- Kent Air Ambulance Trust runs a good website that tells you what they are doing and how they do it.
- Dealing with unreasonable noise from industrial, commercial and residential premises in Swale. Noise control officers are employed from :
- Friday night 9.00pm to 1.00 am Saturday morning; and
- Saturday night 9.00pm to 1.00am Sunday morning.
